Blog for a new adventure

So, I'm hopping on the Blog-bandwagon, as it seems like a pretty effective way to stay in touch and update while I'm abroad. Currently, preparations include reservations at hotels and for trains- three nights in Rome, train to Florence, one night there, and a train to Lyon. From there, we will be renting a car to take me to Yssingeaux, where I will start studying La Pâtisserie on July 4. In the mean time, I'm practicing making some treats, including the Irish Car Bomb cupcakes pictured below!
